Strawberries are grown on stands for pick your own. There was a programme on TV featuring this recently.

I am growing mine in baskets at a nice height for easy picking, I will let you know how I get on.

You can buy strawberry towers that you put grow bags on. I think Ken Muir fruit supply them, but not sure on price

in days of old people used to get wooden barrel's drill holes in them from about half way up and in the bottom for drainage,fill with just soil and put their strawberry's in the holes,but that was befor we were kidded that we needed growbags and compost for every thing,
