THE BUDS ON MY GIRLFRIENDS INDOOR CYCLAMEN ARE DROOPING THEN DIE, MEETHINKS OVERWATERING. WOULD THIS BE CORRECT? ANY RESTORATIVE ACTION POSSIBLE?

Hi Maritinamies well you can certainly overwater cyclamen and they must only be watered from the bottom. Added to that you need to keep them in a warm, but not hot, room with reasonable light but no direct sunlight. It is also possible the plant got damaged before you girl friend even got it.

if it has been in a cold draught that would do it too. you often see them outside /by the doors in shops. a chill will also do it in addition to the previous suggestions.
let it dry out abit and it should recover and produce new buds.

Relocate the plant to a cooler room
Give it a drink from the bottom, or
Stop watering for a few days
Any combination of the above can cause the problem with the cyclamen.
