Are these able to root in water or how do you get them to root. I put mine in water, it started to rot, should I just let it dry out first, or plant it back in the pot with no roots & hope they form.

I would put it straight into well drained compost. but i dont think sections of leaf grow well that way. i have in the past removed the full leaf right down to the base and then thye have grown with some success.
