B & Q multi purpose is ok for everything. I would not touch the peat free one though, it is useless unfortunately.

Hi Kath, every time I have used b&q compost I've been disappointed, I'd go for J Innes number 2, and add a little grit, Derek.

Thanks Derek.
How are things at home.

Hi Kath, keep plodding on, don't get in the garden as much as i'd like, just managing a bit of maintenance, but not the jobs I would like to be getting on with, like cutting down a holly hedge, and taking out a 15 year old oak tree, and getting rid of some Leylandii at the bottom of the garden, other than that things are fine, thanks for asking, hope everything is ok with you, Derek.

I would opt for John Innes No 2, I find it extremely good for most things.

I have a load of fuchsia cuttings needing potted Gail.
And this is for potting down my fuchsias when I tidy them for the winter.

Hi Scotkat, depends on what you want the compost for as there are a range of different types for different plants. What are you wanting to do?
