I just found (and joined...hello!!!)this great forum!
I've been searching for an online nursery/source for banksia and protea, but haven't had much luck! If anyone can point me in the right direction, or recommend a source, I would be most appreciative!
I live in Vero Beach, Florida and am a master gardener, with a penchant for growing things that test the limits of my zone!
Thank you...and I look forward to reading and sharing here as the days go on!

I'm glad that you decided to join this site and found this forum great Karen, myself, and I'm sure that all the other members of GoY welcome our American cousins as new members.
I think you can buy banksia and protea via this site from the garden center. However, I think that the cost of shipping to the US would be high. Also, there may be other considerations to take into account like customs and more importantly your USDA regulations for importation of plants into the US which will probably make it prohibitive for you. I'm sure that you will be able to buy these near where you live.
Is Vero Beach on the West Coast. I have a friend that lives near Tarpon Springs on the Gold Coast. He has a home gardening business, so when I next speak with him I will ask him if he knows where you can get them.

Welcome to GOY. There are several of your compatriots on this site so no doubt they will be able to assist.
