I HAVE AN OUTBREAK OF VIOLETS GROWING IN MY LAWN, IS THERE ANY TREATMENT TO KILL THEM WITHOUT HURTING MY LAWN

You're so lucky to have self-seeded violets.

Hi, welcome to g o y, you don't need to use weed killer, if you don't want them, either dig them out with a sharp knife, or mow them off, Derek.

Why not give them away? I'm sure some of your neighbours would be pleased to have them.
I have to say that if I woke up to violets in the lawn I would be delighted!

Me too and I love them. They don't volunteer in the beds though, lol, so I have to transplant them.

Mine volunteer everywhere - never thought I would ever be pulling them out and throwing them away but they pop up in pots and borders, mixed up with the hostas, you name it. I think they are pretty in the lawn though, but mowing seems to finish them off there.

How do I say thanks?
