aisling

My well estabished camillians (Potted) 6ft tall have sadly been frost burned, leaves curling and browning falling off, buds still on but very soft and brown, what can I do? It is possible to cut back hard at this time of year

Camellias like pruning to be little and often rather than occasional and drastic, and this is best carried out after flowering. However, if you have dead or dying areas, then you can cut those back to live growth, but wait till end of May for any other pruning (removing live wood).
