can I cut 'Tom Thumb' right back? It looks pretty dead- it's in a big pot and I think the frost may have damaged it.

I wait until I see signs of growth at the base of stems then cut the old stems right back.

Mine is planted in the ground and it looked the same too. I cut it right back yesterday then watered it, will feed it today and hopefully it will be ok.
Luckily I took 4 cuutings which I had stored in my minigreenhouse that survived the bad winter we had.
