I usually look over the fuchsias at a garden centre and decide on the tallest straightest among the potted seedlings and, if there is a picture of the flowers, also habit too. I look for a strong upward growth. Then I grow it as a standard. I tried to keep Happy White Wedding, which is a very strong grower, with massive flowers, over this winter. The stem is still alive, sprouting, and has been repotted, but performance second time around may not be good. I will look out for Dollar Princess Sanbaz and have a try with that.

It does have very large. white flowers Great, and grows very strongly too, but I think its very tender. I have seen it in large plugs in about 3 garden centres at 99p each.
