Do you mean a wild teasle? They are about 2'6" tall, I suppose.

teasels get over 6ft up in yorkshire so I guess we should use the latin name Dipsacus fullonum so we know what we mean lol.

WOW! That's BIG !! I'm not too good on latin names of native flora. :-((

I love them but dont really have a sunny spot suitable for them or I would grow them.

I even spelt the English name wrong! ;-( There are lots in the field next to us, and the seedlings end up in my garden. :-(((((
