I have very limited space,can I clip and trim my Sambucus without doing any harm, it would be in well drained soil in a sunny spot ?

Mine is just coming into bud and its 4yrs growth and never been pruned.
Its heavy rain today but as soon as its dry shall take a photo.
The foliage is absuletly stunning .

I prune mine about this time every year, have had it for 7 yrs and it can get quite big and bushy. Get a really good show of flowers each year.

You can prune them to size, but you have to decide when to do this - some people wait until after they've flowered, while others grow them for the foliage and clip them earlier in the year.
