What is wrong with this plant?

I bought this plant a week ago, and it has suddenly started to look a bit unwell.

The flowers growing up the stem die soon after starting to open and the leaves sound like dry dead leaves eventhough it has been watered the same as other plants in my garden.

It has never been removed from its pot, and there is a slight smell coming from the plant itself, which is not nice.

The soil is dry, so I do not think that the soil is going funny.

Can anyone help?

Thaks in advance

Have you got the receipt? I'd take it back, I think. That doesn't look at all healthy.

Agreed Spritz-- I think some suppliers have been caught out by the weather as well

Please do tell us - and don't take any old nonsense from them, either! It 'won't' recover...whatever they tell you, Alex. :-((
