what type of soil do buddleia shrub like

Answers

Buddleja's are very easy to grow, all they need is to be planted into well drained soil. They prefer to be planted in deep, loamy soil in a warm, sunny position.

They grow huge on railway embankments - they "do" anywhere! In gutters and downpipes, seedlings in grow in brickwork on old buildings, they are really not fussed. Anywhere.

There's one growing out of the top of next doors wall, which comes every year and does better than the ones I had planted in my garden!
