[ Quick message from me ]
I hope you’re all fit and well, enjoying your gardens …
Recently, I had “injury time out” from GoY to recover from painful strains to my wrist and hip area …
… but good news …
I’m a lot better … getting back on track now :o)
Crocus budgie is helping me enjoy the Wimbledon tennis
… he’s very interested in the “seeds” … ;o)…Lol.

That's really good terra, the photos are fabulous, it works so well.
There are a few seeds now missing from Wimbledon - do I take it crocus is responsible? If so I would like to say three cheers for crocus!
27 Jun, 2011
Lol. Sticki ...
This past week, Crocus has been doing a lot of tweeting and a lot of eating .. so you are right .. he is to blame for various seeds disappearing ;o)

I bet you sang with a strong Welsh voice ...
Yes, thanks... all good here...
managing to fit some gardening in between the tennis matches... Lol.
Crocus, having antipodean origins, is supporting the Australian players ;o)
27 Jun, 2011
I had to YouTube it TT, then I sang along at the top of my voice but silently as OH has visitors playing bridge!
27 Jun, 2011
Oh TT that song has stuck in my head all afternoon :-)
27 Jun, 2011
Me again TT, this really put a smile on my face, well done!
27 Jun, 2011
Honeysuckle looking great TT. Glad you are feeling your old self again.
27 Jun, 2011
Seems like we have the GoY chorus back again, singing all around the UK. ... and maybe the world ... Lol.
Thanks Cindy and Bob ...
My first time of growing these honeysuckles ... :o)
27 Jun, 2011
Singing along here Terra, I love Honeysuckle and your pics with the squirrels are very cute, I bet the perfume is lovely in your garden, I always notice mine more in the evenings.
Pleased to see Conker and Truffle enjoying a relaxing time in the garden, both posing beautifully and so handsome as well.
Glad you are feeling better now Terra, lovely bog and pics......
27 Jun, 2011
Brilliant again TT. Sang all the way through. Glad you're feeling better. Lovely to see the boys looking so handsome and relaxed. Glad Crocus is enjoying the tennis. :o)
Something is attacking my honeysuckle. Started flowering quite well, then noticed the new buds started drooping, and now almost the whole plant is looking grim. Have inspected it again, and now noticed it has like a sticky substance all over it, and it looks rather shiny and silvery. :o(
27 Jun, 2011
Wonderful blog TT, glad to see you're in fine voice again! Coincidentally I just took a couple of cuttings of a wild honeysuckle with the most marvellous perfume, tonight, out on our walk, hopefully they'll root for me!
27 Jun, 2011
Thanks Lincs, Linda and Libet
( the three "L" s ... Lol.)
Yes, Crocus budgie thoroughly enjoying the tennis ...
I blame him for yet more seeds disappearing ..Lol..
28 Jun, 2011
:o))
28 Jun, 2011
TT...you've sure put a bounce in my step with your lively tune :) You are an inspiration and a great tonic! x
Sorry you've been through a time of injury and pain and so pleased it has all subsided now. You have placed your little squirrels so perfectly amongst your honeysuckle...and they look so 'right' in your garden. All looking so pretty..and the honeysuckle sure is thriving!
Take care now....at least with the tennis you've got some tv to watch to finish off your recuperation. :)
28 Jun, 2011
Hi Jacquie...
thanks... your comments are a tonic .. xxx
So nice to be pain-free.... and, yes the tennis makes me sit still for a while . Lol... :o)
The squirrels love playing games in the honeysuckle ..
Conker and Truffle are keeping an eye on them ... ;o)
28 Jun, 2011
A typical TT tantalizing tale, totally terrific......topping TT.
28 Jun, 2011
Hi Terra, maybe we should have dancing with the Goy Choir now we've the cha cha.... waltz of the flowers anyone? or maybe the St Bernards for the dog lovers......
28 Jun, 2011
Thanks,
Dotttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttty :o) x
Lol. Pamg
... and in the winter ...
...we'll do it all on ice ;o)
28 Jun, 2011
Truly talented Terra. Know how you feel with painful bits. I went mad with a wire brush on a pole to scrape weeds between stonework and suffered agonies in my fingers, arms and hands. I would love Honeysuckle, but nowhere to plant it. Marvellous blog. Watched the tennis yesterday......too hot for anything else.
28 Jun, 2011
Hi Dorjac ... Thanks ...
I hope you've recovered from your wire-brush work...
last year I scrubbed about 160 back garden pavings with wire brushes ...
exhausting to say the least !
I watched tennis in a thunderstorm today .. hot sun yesterday !
Pity you have no space left for a honeysuckle ...
28 Jun, 2011
Absolutely wonderful TT, you`ve hit the high note again.
28 Jun, 2011
Love this,Terra...and you sing in tune beautifully ! Gorgeous Honeysuckle too...:o))
29 Jun, 2011
Thank you, Bloomer and Stroller ..
I'm pleased you like blog and the honeysuckle :o)
29 Jun, 2011
Neighbours think there is a failed pop singer next door now: could not help singing along. How clever of you to think of something like that.
Sorry to hear of your difficulties and glad that you are no longer in pain. The brain has definitely not suffered from it.
Thank you for that cheery message, Terratoonie
29 Jun, 2011
Lovely blog Terratoonie hope you ll recover soon, those little critters are so cute and your honeysuckle beautiful love the raindrops, and I can see Conker and Truffles have the movement of tennis love one where they watching tennis too with the heads following the ball lol enjoy your tennis with Conkers
30 Jun, 2011
Hate tennis but love your blog! Lovely honeysuckle too! Glad to hear your recovering well! :-) x

30 Jun, 2011
Brilliant blog,TT. I'm tone deaf so I sang silently (inside my head I've a beautiful voice!) Pleased to hear your 'aches and pains' are receding. Take care :)
30 Jun, 2011
I'm with Gee on this one ... can't sing in tune at all ... whistling along though! Very envious of your healthy Honeysuckles ... my poorly one may well be cut to ground level soon ... : o ((
1 Jul, 2011
Thanks Gee and Shirley ...
I'm delighted you are adding more voices to the GoY choir ... silent or otherwise ... ;o)
Shirley ... I've been following your Honeysuckle blog and question and also another similar blog from Lindalooloo ...
... I really hope your honeysuckles can be saved ... mine were new plants last year ...
1 Jul, 2011
Tt, I think there's a sign somewhere in my garden which reads: "All pests & diseases enter here!" as I've had those brown aphids on a Rose, Blackspot on another, Vine Weevil on a Forsythia and now, it would appear, thrips on the Honeysuckle! These things are sent to try us. : o (((
1 Jul, 2011
Hi Tt, Pleased your on the mend. Take care x
1 Jul, 2011
Shirley I hope your garden is healthier in the future...
maybe you need a new sign ?
... Pests and Diseases Keep Out !!!
Hi Sue... I hope you're well... feeling fitter now thanks :o)
1 Jul, 2011

2 Jul, 2011
Lol Bill...
Real and unreal animals all say thank you ;o)
2 Jul, 2011
Thank you again glad to join the choir. When I saw a TV programme of people all over the country heading for London to take part in a big choir, I thought they got that idea from TT and Goy. Lovely cheerful song to end the day. Glad to hear you are on the mend. Lovely blog and I can smell that perfume from here.
2 Jul, 2011
Thanks Scotsgran ... glad you like this blog :o)
3 Jul, 2011
What a great blog on Honeysuckle, TT! I loved it! :-)) You are probably GoY's greatest blogger! You are so original in making them up! The rest of us can only hope to make a pale imitation of yours!
I loved the tune you chose & the words fit so well! I could only sing along in my head as, like some of the others above, I'm tone deaf, as well!
Loved the photos of your lovely squirrels as well as your lovely dogs! :-))
What will you do for an encore?
PS Glad to hear you are now free of pain! :-))
3 Jul, 2011
Hi Balcony ...
On behalf of the rodents and the dogs ..
Thanks ..
I could almost hear you singing ;o)
Great to be pain free.. I was climbing up ladders for about 3 hours today, pruning ceanothus... could not have done that a few weeks ago !
You'll get rainfall for the allotment on Tues/Weds. I'm guessing.... Good luck with everything growing well... :o)
3 Jul, 2011
hi what beautiful pictures love the squirrel as it got a loo to go lol, poor thing did you nail it to the post lol. :))))))))))
7 Jul, 2011
Hi Mark... Thanks ..
The rodents are fixed on in a cunning way so that they can be removed for winter hibernation... and for other trips at their convenience ;o)
7 Jul, 2011
You were right, TT, we did get some showers!
