I just love seeing the Bees enjoying the plants...this must be extra special treat to them...i do love these Thistles, they are an Wildlife plant, i believe, is this so, Bb?....lovely pic Jane....: ~ )))

Oh Freesia...we just let this thistle grow..at the back of the border..and the bees just love it...Could have dug it up but glad we didnt......

This is great, like you I`ve left a few thistles and some nettles and we have had loads of bees ...... but yours must be very well behaved, mind wont keep still long enough for me to get a pic ......... or is it me just to slow.

Wow~ good job Jane. the echinops are blooming in my garden and the bees are having a field day... No small accomplishment to catch not just one ...but two...so occupied with their work that they don't fly off when the shutter starts clicking~~! spotted a bumble the size of a landrover in the hosta yesterday!!
