Hi there, I have noticed my Acer, which is in a pot within the border, the leaves have wilted, I think this could have been caused by a combination of a strong wind and the strong sun, will the leaves regain an upright position? or will I now have to wait until next year? I have moved its location from the previos years. I would hate to think it has died.
I would appreciate comments and advise.
Thank you

If the leaves haven't perked up within a few hours of a watering, Waterfeature, the chances are that those leaves are toast. The tree should produce a new set, however, as long as it's still alive, and conditions improve.

Thank you for your comments.
I have moved the plant to a shadier spot, the leaves still look weepy. I will give it some time.

Hi....I'd say your right about the conditions not being correct for your Acer. Is there a chance you can move the pot to a more shady sheltered spot? A good feed of food suitable for acidic loving plants probably would give it a boost, and I would mist the leaves daily too.
