i transplanted quantity of courgettes and pumpkin a week ago, most of them have died now, they wilted very quickly, yesturday i pulled one from the container and found white/yellow larvae! what fly possibly and how to prevent, should i get rid of soil in pots?

If the larvae were creamy and 'c' shaped with a dark head, then they were vine weevil grubs. Make sure that you change the compost.
