I have a young cherry tree (Summer sun)growing in my paddock, which suddenly looks rather poorly - any ideas and is it serious?

I wonder if it could be wind damage?

Possibly

It has been planted about 3 years now. It is a bit exposed to the East wind so could be wind damage.

When you say 'young' how long has it been planted and have you kept it well watered?
