It's a lovely heat wave here in Surrey. Too hot to sit in the sun, shade only day. Waiting until tonight to plant some bedding Begonias. We had our bad day on Saturday which was the day of the local fete, also B. hol Mon.was a washout. I hope it clears up for you soon Scotcat.

Yes fit not as fit as hubby yesterday he did 40 miles but in a week he will bike 100 miles and more.

Beautiful sun here around the Manchester area, managed to trim my berberis hedge and conifers with the aid of a couple of beers to keep me going :o)

We've got a thunderstorm and heavy rain at the moment, Kath.

Nothing today and only about half an hours rain yesterday morning. Could have done with a little more.

Couple of heavy showers around 1.30pm both of which lasted fro about 2 minutes, other than that pretty good if windy up on the moor where we went birding.

Yes we had a big heavy rain storm with thunder ect. yesterday morning in Woodley Nr Reading, but it all stopped by 11.00 and almost instantly the clouds cleared and the sunshine and temp was marvellous for the rest of the day, today has been quite good too but not quite as hot

Trying to build 2 new composters here at Burton on Trent but been rained off twice, then the sun comes out and its really warm.

A bit mixed this morning - fine later in the afternoon, OH sat out while I pottered in the borders, but we could hear thunder in the distance - inland. It's been warmer outside than in, this week.

The only word for the weather here is "HOT". Not a cloud in the sky and temps around 30 C +.

Thunderstorm and very heavy rain yesterday morning and early afternoon turning into sunshine with a lovely warm evening to follow, today is breezy so a lot cooler but sunshine all day so still an improvement on the last few days...

Blistering weather all day long here and it's still wonderful at 7.30.

Bracknell - chucked it down at 10am yesterday, but had stopped by midday. Beautiful sunshine all day today.
