Forget about all these things. You want small sticks and twigs pushed into the ground close enough together to stop the cat lying down or digging/squatting. Jeyes is a fairly nasty chemical, toxic to cats and wildlife. Orange peel stuck on the sticks is cat-repelling and more friendly to wildlife.

how about a shotgun and a hide ? only joking the sticks or bits of wire work because cats don't want spikes in there bum . I understand that lol .

Lay down chicken wire horizontally around the perimeter of your veg garden. Cats don't like walking on it. Shotgun? Then your going to get a question- What are these holes in my cucumbers and squash?

If you've got access to brambles try putting them in between the rows. Pussy paws hate risking thorns. Old holly or mahonia leaves will do the same job.

I use berberis trimmings but you get the idea!

Thats a good thought about Bramble cut offs. Will add them but still use Jeyes Fluid, as next door's Tomcat
glares at me now, so he knows he is not wanted.

I use rose clippings between the plants and on the used T-bag theme, why not try Obas Oil?

Previous question
Did the rain wash all these products off ? I find Jeyes
Fluid sprayed on scattered tea bags and wood items works.
Must remember to find something to cover these items for
when it rains again.
