now I know batchelors buttons as a white yellow centred daisy type flower.
I agree it is a wild cornflower Centaurea cyanus.
the 1st is Acanthus mollis.
The third looks like Larkspur and annual [a type of delphinium.]

Middle one is possibly Catananche caerulea.

They look pretty similar, Owdboggy, but the ray flowers ("petals") on Catananche are flatter than on Cornflower. If you look closely, the ray flowers of Cornflower are actually little tubes.

Second one is maybe Nigella? It's one of those plants I see a lot but just can't think of the name...
