I am currently growing trailing cherry tomatoes in a hanging basket. They are flourishing very well but I need to know if I have to pinch out any part of the growth similar to standard tomatoes grown from the ground upwards

Hey, Mike! Once was enough!
I would say no, but we grow tomatoes differently here in the desert.

i would say it would be the same method as normal upright tomatoes , pinch out the little side shoots that doesnot need to be there.
i know my aunt has toms in hanging baskets and they are doing very well
But i dare say someone will put me right

I have been growing hanging tomatoes in baskets for quite a few years and have never pinched out the side shoots. They do very well for me.
