They look as if they could be Chlorophyllum rhacodes or Shaggy Parasol. Fairly common in woodlands throughout Britain and Europe.

But a proper I.d. Would require a view of the stem and gills.

What colour are the gills and is there a ring on the stem?
If its a shaggy parasol it wil have had a white stem originally getting rather wider toward the base and if you dig it up carefully it will be bulbous at the very bottom.
If you cut the cap it should stain orange or red and the gills should bruise reddish if you squash them. Younger ones are edible and make wonderful soup, but in occasional people they can cause stomach upsets. Luckily we didn't know this when we made some!
Owdb, have these changed their name? I thought they were Lepiotas.

Thank you all for your comments I will investigate the gills/stems tomorrow, I agree they are pretty thank you for liking them! they are growing in my spinney through deep leaf mould, will report back tomorrow there may even be a Ringo! :o)
