I have just found loads of grey/white caterpillars with a black head devouring my Solomon's Seal. Please can you tell me what they are?
Many thanks

It's a type of Sawfly (specific to Solomon's Seal). Their larvae can severely damage foliage. Hand pick them off if not too big a clump or too many of them. You may have to spray with an insecticide if not.
