Great Photos, I have seen these in my garden But I have no idea what they turn into

Looks a nice caterpiller, but i dont think i'd have picked it up.

Its 1st one iv seen in my garden Donna! Sorry u had a shiver Amy lol :) It tickled alittle Clarice im sure ud of like that :) lol I found it under some Cranesbill Aster does this help any? id love to know what Caterpillar ill become :)

Very pretty and yes I too pick creatures up and show them to my grandchildren so they won't be frightened of creepy crawlies. Sorry I don't know what it will be but hopefully a very pretty butterfly or month. I just hope the weather stays nice so it can develop and delight you long enough for you to snap it in all it's glory! Love Sue x

It could be a type of sawfly,many of those are spotted. There are usually lots of those together though so hopefully not.
I hope someone knows :)

Sawfly !!! I deff only saw the 1 of this chap Aster :) He was very very fast Sarah most of the pics i took were 2 blurred 2 post :) lol

By the time someone has identified him he will have changed his clothes. That would make him a she LOL
