Silly as it sounds I have a fobia of Frogs and toads. Does anyone know of any plant or substance that will drive them away without harming them. As my new neigbour as installed a pond and my garden is now full of my worst nightmare

My friend has a phobia of frogs, but her cats keep grabbing ones from around her neighbour's pond and bring them under the hedge and in through the cat flap!
She never knows what to expect jumping (or not) around the house when she goes home!

My cats bring in frogs and the worst bit is when I find one under a chair etc, -------- as stiff as a board !

Poor frogs and toads... I can understand a phobia but they do so much good in our gardens!

Hi Westcote, no phobia is silly... As frogs and toads doen't eat vegetation but bugs and insects I doubt there is a plant that will deter them. You could erect a solid barrier between your and your neighbour's garden, you also need to make sure your garden isn't frog and toad friendly. Don't leave wood piles or anything they could shelter in, keep your grass cut short and your flower beds very tidy.
Good luck! I love frogs and toads and give thanks for them eating the insects in the garden.
