Sorry NOT a question this time , but a comment to say ,If any of you get the chance , as we have just had , go to Madeira . The *Island of Flowers * .So many beautiful different flowers to see, we just missed by 4 days ,A flower festival . But in our weeks stay went all over the Island ,and still saw lots of colourful flowers in bloom .

And in Madeira Myron they also make lovely , Chestnut Bread , Chestnut Liquor . ( from locally grown Chestnut trees ) AND of course their special Madeira Wines , more like Port .

When I was cabin crew for an airline my o.h. and me hoped to go there sub load but the flight was full and we ended up in Malta as it had empty seats. I don't recommend it unless you're retired! Shame as I was looking forward to Maderia and it's beautiful flowers.
