The flowers are Corn cockles,Agrostemma githago, which is now a rather rare annual. Save and resow the seeds .
I cannot see any frogs in the picture though.

Agree with Owdboggy . . . we have these lovely Corncockles, and they do produce masses of seed. It's safer to collect them and sow them yourself as he says, as they don't often do it themselves which is why (I imagine) they are dying out in the wild.
There is also a gorgeous white version of Agrostemma githago (Ocean Pearl) which I hope to find to sow for next year.

I sent off for wild flower seeds from Countryfile a year or so ago and have managed to save the seeds and grow them on. I'm not sure I've got any on my present plant.

If you leave the seeds on the plant they seed themselves, at least mine do.
Like poppies they were a weed of cornfileds which is the main reason why they are so rare in the wild now. In fact I read somewhere that they are now extinct.

It's sad, isn't it Sue (Stera), but I'm glad yours seed themselves. Maybe my soil is too dense for that to happen here. But Corncockles are still listed on some wildflower 'collections', which is something!

I think I got my seeds from a Goyer originally. Yes its well worth saving the seed in any case - you never know if seedlings will appear on their own or not...

Might have been me that sent them Stera. The plant I have doesn't seem to have any seed pods on it. I had several plants before. Perhaps they don't fertilise themselves from one plant.

I have corncockle too. do you want me to save you some seed Cammomile?
it is an annual and the extensive use of herbicides in order to provide weed free fields has led to its demise.

It's very kind of you Seaburngirl but the one I have now came in a pot with a plant from my old garden and I don't have enough room for them now but thank you.

They are marsh frogs, if there's a pond in the garden or near they will always return to where they were spawned, they are only in the water in the spring, they spend the rest of their time in surrounding area, very good for, the garden.
