Lavender. Does this flower say I'm finished flowering or is it just not happy? If it has finished flowering do I just the stems off back down to bushy crown? If it's not happy what can I do to make it happy! Many thanks :)

If you cut the flowering stems back now it looks as though there will still be enough flowers to dry for lavender bags of pot pourri.

Cammomile- I have been away and everything needed a good soak. Now I know it's not poorly but just finished flowering I will let it dry out. Thanks.

Take a half inch to an inch of foliage when you clip the flowering stems off, helps to stave of the inevitable legginess they develop.

It's finished flowering. I walk past two lovely bushes to my local corner shop and they look the same. Mind you I hope they don't stand in water too often, they are quite used to hot dry conditions.
