Hi, My name is Ken
I have just taken seeds off my delphiniums
Can I sew them straight away and save a year on flowering or do I have to wait until next spring.

Hi Kenlacy yes you can sow them straight away, in nature they don't sit around for a year. You can either scatter seed on your garden, which is what happens naturally, or sow the seed thinly in seed trays using your usual method.

I would always so immediately but if you have enough seed keep some to sow next spring, also.

Sowing in the ground results in a higher mortality rate, but the surviving seedlings are much stronger and healthier.

How do I say thanks?
