Great Spangled Fritillary

The Great Spangled Fritillaries really started showing up over the past few days as they usually do just as the Butterfly Weed is beginning to bloom. This one however, was much more interested in the Double Dwarf Sweet William. This is really my first year growing Sweet William and I love the color that it brings to that area of the garden. The butterflies really are drawn to it. I plan on growing it every year now.........it is a biennial so I probably will have to go without it next year.
