Not sure you can Booby. When we were lifting some of ours yesterday there was minor slug damaged and lots of slug eggs about, they got binned!

I grow a variety of potato called 'Kestrel' which are very slug resistant, maybe in future years you could look around for the variety. We have a big problem with slugs as the soil has alot of clay in it. Us gardeners can't avoid them so we have to try and beat the little buggers!
