My espaliers are against a wall. Woodlice may find polythene difficult to grip, but they climb up the wall. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks. Chris

Woodlice aren't harmful in the main. They do like a strawberry, but they can't even bite into a strawberry, they don't have the right mouth parts - it has to be penetrated or punctured by something else first. Otherwise they feed on dead or decaying material, they're nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't worry about woodlice either, though they occasionally can get in the house and cause a temporary nuisance.

I don't think woodlice are harmful Chris, but someone else on here might know better . . .
