I tried it and it works. I chose a colour and clicked on 'find photos' and lots of photos of plants in that colour appeared lower down on the page.
I tried it with a few colours.

First time I've ever looked at that page, didn't know it existed, but Hywel's right, it does work - its just there isn't a submit button, its the Find Photos button...

Anybody recommend a white Potentilla fruticosa that doesn't get too tall?

They all get a similar size - there's Abbotswood, White Lady and Snowbird. I think White Lady gets wider than it does tall...

Thank you Bamboo. Which one do you think is most attractive? I've looked at a few pics and Abbotswood seems to be the most floriferous but you can't be sure with photos...

I grow 'Manchu' which is only a foot tall and about three across. It occasionally throws up a taller shoot, but you just cut it out completely. It's not widely available, but I bought it at Perryhill Nursery in Sussex. They do mail order.

That's a nice smaller one Andrew - but isn't Perryhill the supplier that sends plants complete with weeds? I may have got them confused with another supplier, but I ordered various little plants once from them and every one had weeds as well...

Bamboo - I've always visited Perryhill as it's a nice day out from Bracknell. I've never had any problems with weeds with the plants I bought there, but I can't comment on anything bought from them via mail order.
