Take note tomato growers - these are the best I’ve ever grown or tasted. Costoluto Fiorentino Florence.
The middle one weighs 1/2 pound and I’ve had larger.

Nice! I grew less toms this year so sowing something special might be a good plan, thanks for the pointer.

I’ve already bought my seeds for next year. - great taste and thin skins.

Would the seed from the crop not come true?

I asked once before quite recently and was told it would not

Just ordered two packs from Franchi Seeds of Italy. One for me & one for my brother. Along with my new chilli collection I'm looking forward to what I can eat next year!

I wonder - has anyone else grown these toms before ? And if you like them as much as I do ?

Not sure about yours Derren8, but there are 50 seeds in my pack. More than enough.

Daft I know, but I didn't think to check how many seeds I ordered. I can always give spares to a local community garden.
I was doing a bit of reading earlier & was surprised these toms are equally good for cooking. That makes any gluts easier keep to myself!

Can I grow these outside or do they need a greenhouse?

Both, I have them in and outside and both are doing very well.
