Having told my cousin several times about my prolific thornless blackberry bush she has decided to buy one. It’s called Loch Ness and she’s asked me what is the best time of the year to set it. Of course I’ve long forgotten that and knew one of you guys could help me.
She’d like to set it now but is that wise ? And is Loch Ness one of the best ?

Now is as good a time as any. The soil is still warm enough for the roots to grow before winter sets in.
I think ours is Loch Ness and if so then it is a good one.
