Winter into spring.
We’re all waiting at the start line, eager to get out into our little bits of heaven, but the weather has been atrocious recently.
Is everyone feeling like me? A bit impatient, looking longingly out the window as the rain and gale force winds preventing us from fulfilling our dreams?
I can’t wait to get out there. I’ve got so much growing in pots under-cover, new green shoots on stuff I haven’t pruned yet, daffs snapped and laying in the flower beds.
On the upside, our little frog-pond has a zillion-million-squillion tadpoles hatched, looks like an oil slick in there, all their little wiggly tails.

Gales & persisting rain torrents here in Manchester. I don't even want to do the 5 yards to tip an old pot of soil into the compost bin. & I was going to join a local gardening group today! Fat chance😄
I might threaten the cuke seeds on the windowsill to get a hurry on in a bit...

Down here in balmy Berkshire, I spent the whole day working in the garden. Makes up for last year when we got delayed by the Beast from the East

Was feeling frustrated today by the high winds in Devon. Like everyone I've lots of cutting back to do but I just want to be out there with the soil. Resorted to a rubbish film and a few glasses this pm and that was pleasant if not productive. Hehe. Looking forward to tomorrow and just hope that partner is prepared to do the dinner.

Bit draughty out there but I managed to pot on some small clematis I bought from Morrisons and put them in the back porch. I enjoyed that.
Then--- My fence has been wrecked in the recent winds so I set about unpinning my climbers and taking down plastic trellis so that I can call a fencer. Not how I would normally choose to spend a Sunday afternoon!

We have had several days when I’ve been able to get out in the garden . . . cutting back deciduous grasses and planting perennials. Definitely looking forward to some warmth!
