Dawnsaunt
Has any one heard from Dawn lately? I cant remember if she was dipping out of GOY for a while.
She hasn't responded to a pm and she always did before.

No - I hope she's ok.

I have been asked by PM if Bamboo is ok but I have no news to give. Also, not seen comments/pics/blogs from Dottydaisy for some time. I do hope all is well.

Yes, a worry. I did wonder about some of the members. Hope they are all ok!

I had a comment from Dotty not too long ago, but I think she quite often has a longish break. I too have wondered about Dawn ... it’s a worry.

I have been in touch with Bamboo until recently but haven't heard for a while. She resisted having chemo for a long time but was having it when I last heard. If she isn't answering PMs I'll write to her again and let you know if she replies but must admit to getting worried...

Sheila, that's reassuring about Dotty.

Sue, I do hope Bamboo is coping.

I am the same as you Yorkslass, though I did pm her earlier today.

Just to reassure everyone I'm still breathing (just about, got chest problems unrelated to the cancer) and am not on chemo currently, though that may be approaching again some time in the next few months. Thanks to Seaburngirl for messaging me - I had stopped coming to the site a while back because I could see no images at all, not people's logos or photos in questions or photos generally, but I can see them now, much to my surprise, so if that continues, I shall be a bit more active again.

Hope everyone's okay and had at least one vaccination...

Great to see your post Bamboo. I miss your wisdom, but it's more important that you relax and do the things you feel like doing until you are well again.

Good to see your avatar once more Bamboo. Many of us had issues with not being able to see photos and I for one resorted to installing Firefox to access them. Thankfully Dave (Shedman) posted to say the issue has now been resolved so here's hoping more members return! Take care, stay safe.

Good to see you Bamboo ... thank you for letting us know how you are. Hope you are enjoying relaxing in the garden on the warmer days. Be kind to yourself! x

I’m pleased to hear you are ok, Bamboo. You’ve been through a really rough time, and it sounds like you’re going to be undergoing further treatment a bit later on. I do hope you are feeling ok as ok can be! It’s been awful for you having to undergo all this and the virus being with us for all this time too. Please keep safe and well. Good to hear from you xx

Thanks everyone...

Its a relief to hear from you Bamboo - as you can see you are greatly missed. Here comes yet another Spring (can it possibly be the third one since this horrid business started?) And you were so convinced you wouldn't see the first one! Hope you have managed to have some flowers on the balcony. The daffodils here have been wonderful - hope you can see some.

Loads of flowers but they've been there all winter - pansies and cyclamen are in full flower and looking good, the Pieris is flowering, the hyacinths are just going over and there are Chionodoxia sprinkled through the lot... The bottlebrush, which is now rather large, seems to be covered in flower buds, looks like its going to be a good display in a while... I'd quite like to move it into the garden to save cutting it back every year, but the birds use it as cover to access the nut feeder....

Excellent news - nothing liked Spring flowers to give you new heart is there?

Dawn is also fine I had a message from her today. So that is good news too.
