I planted 2 end tips of my excellent thornless blackberry bush, hoping to grow 2 the beginnings of 2 new bushes and it appeared to work. See photo below. My daughter wants one and the other is for myself. But is either of them ready to move and when I do is it a simple job to transfer ? How tall should they be ?
I hope the photo is adequate.

if there are roots then yes snip the stem and dig up with as much soil as possible.

when you gently pull on the new growth does it resist? if yes then there are roots present.

Thanks SG, one is 4 inches tall and does resist pulling, the other is only 2 inches and won’t risk pulling that one yet. Dare I dig the bigger one up yet for daughter or should I wait a bit longer ?

I'd gently prise the bigger one up & check for roots, if some then into a pot PDQ for daughter. This time of year it'll romp away

Do you know the variety you have?
I have Thorn Free & Merton Thornless. I prefer the Merton for flavour but both are good

as long as they are from different stems then yes dig up the larger one and pot it up.

Thanks guys, daughter will have hers this weekend. Sorry, don’t have a clue of the variety, but the blackberries it produces are superb.

How do I say thanks?
