This is not a very clear photo of our suffering prunus. It was covered in pretty pink flowers in the spring and recently has had lots of curled up leaves that have turned brown, looking parched and sad.
Could it have been deprived of water or might there be another reason?
It used to be in a pot and was transferred to the ground last autumn.

I'd also go for peach leaf curl.

I have the same problem each year. I'm told it is peach leaf curl, and was advised to cut the branches back a bit. The curl does make the tree unsightly but it doesn't seem to affect next year's blossom. Apparently there is no effective spray or such for it available to the public.
