Alliums

I have grown alliums from bulbs which have flowered this year and have been beautiful, they have now formed seed heads, I have collected the seeds and wish to know when and how to sow them and will they be ready to plant out in time for next year?

The best time to plant your Allium seeds and bulbs is from September to November.Hope this helps,

I think they need planting now, because they need a period of cold to germinate. There was a question about this on August 7th from Majeekahead, where Owdboggy gave clear instructions about how to do this. If you do a search for Allium seeds you should find it.
