Hi all.
My friend and I bought a Star Jasmine each a few years ago. Mine is going well with increasing amounts of flowers each year and it’s growing.
Hers?? Well she has given it to me as it was ‘growing too slowly’ but the trouble is it was taken out of its tub and put in a strong bag for transport, but it wasn’t watered. When I got it my heart sank, much like its leaves. It was given a good soaking on Wednesday when it was dropped off, more water yesterday, Thursday, and a wetting of the leaves and a bit more water today, Friday. It’s not showing any signs of recovery so my question is will it??

Plant it in some fresh compost. Don't drown it with too much more water, just keep the compost damp. The old leaves may drop off and new ones will appear in time. Don't be too impatient, it won't recover over night, but will probably do so slowly in its own time. It doesn't look too bad actually, in the picture. Plants grow at their own pace ... which is usually slowly.

I bought a variegated one a few months ago and didn't plant it up, and forgot to water it, and it became very dry, but it is now in a tub and doing well.

Hywel, thank you for the encouraging answer. I haven’t soaked it, just gave it a much needed drink. I’ll find a pot big enough, remove the old compost and give it some new stuff. The leaves have started to perk up a bit already so maybe they won’t fall off en masse 🤞🏻
