What bush did I inherit?

I moved to a house with garden and "inherited" the previous owners' plants. One bush I cannot identify. It is 4 to 5 meters (13 to 16 feet) high and pretty much a sphere in shape. The small blossoms are white, fruit (?) and leaves are on the picture. It seems to be an evergreen, last winter it was all green. What bush is this?

Isnt Acuba more mottled with yellow flecks to leaves.? Looks like standard laurel to me.Acuba indeed has bright red berries but white flowers?

Yes I think it is standard Laurel (Prunus laurocerasus). Aucuba has a broader leaf even when not mottled. but we could be wrong., but the height , makes it fairly certain its Laurel.

would agree with poaannua, Acuba is usually variegated, P. laurocerasus would be my gues too.
