You can certainly use it on your veg. garden but I'm not sure it will work with raspberries.

Seaweed makes an excellent mulch all around the garden as it is full of minerals and trace metals. Do not used it straight off the beach, though, as it will also be full of salt. Store it somewhere away from the sea for a couple of weeks and let the rain wash the bulk of the salt out of it.
