Sweet Autumn Clematis - Cut back?
Hey guys, should I cut back my sweet autumn clematis (Clematis terniflora)? My husband was told to cut it back to 1 foot because it blooms on new growth. Just wanted to see if that was correct.. Thanks!

Previous question
Yes, its prune group 3, which means should be cut by very early spring at the latest, down to 2 or 3 buds from the base.
