Blight on an old apple tree.

I wonder if anyone can help me,please?I have an old apple tree with blight on it,is there any way I can get rid of the blight?

If the blight is on the branches you will have to cut back to healthy wood and re train new branches. If the apple tree is old you could consider getting rid of it and replanting (not too near) with a new tree. But if it is a feature or historic you will just have to put up with the blight and not many apples. A photo would help to identify the problem, or search some good websites (RHS etc) for matching symptoms.
