It is nice that it is in Edinburgh. They have them down in the Borders and further south but this is the first I have heard of them being in Edinburgh. In Germany near Mosbach in the Neckar Valley fruit trees are planted alongside the roads by the local council. Every year anyone who wants a tree can bid for it in an auction. They send a lot of their apples to be juiced. I always meant to take one of our apples down to have it ID'd as we do not know what variety it is.

I'd go if I lived near. I have lots of apples from my garden and don't know what to do with them. I'd enjoy watching them being pressed.
