Taking the bull by the horns

Well you know what I mean! about the third week in December after all their leaves had fallen I decided to move the Apple and Pear trees from the side fencing so that I could replace them with Evergreen Shrubs that will hopefully in time disguise the fence and encourage more birds into the garden.
I have re-sited them behind hubbies shed it is not quite as sunny there but it was the only place where I could espalier them.
Can only show 2 espaliers it seems as if the battery on my camera has gone.
So now folks I shall keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best – will I be blogging you in spring with photos showing failure or success.
