i have a patch where i grow various veg like peas ,carrots, beans and so on do i need to dig garden lime into the soil

Lime is usually used for Brassicas (cabbage family). Dig in compost instead.

my lemon ade tree is about 5 years old and it has hardly grown,it is about 1.3 mt tall and the fruit is small,the tree seems to drop its leefs and then there is some die back,any solutions ?
