Happens sometimes - there are much more annoying things in life after all!

Right now it is annoying as it is slowing down all the time...

Also, when it takes an hour plus to write a blog with pics. Thats Annoying..

The slowness can be infuriating. Although I did find it got a little quicker after I cleared the cache on my laptop.

I went through a faze not long after I joined where I kept getting logged out. Drove me nuts since I could never remember my password lol. Haven't had a problem since (touch wood).

Youngdaisy make sure your photos are low res i.e. 75 dpi and no wider than 4 inches. It is folk uploading high res huge images that slows the site down.

AJ & Pete used to have a limit on the size of the image you could upload, I wish they would go back to this would make life easier for us all...

In spite of there being more annoying things I'm getting frustrated with the slowness tonight as well. Chill, chill. Or perhaps switch off - no, too difficult.

In a way the site is becoming a victim of its own success. All the flashy pop up adverts and stuff are most annoying.

It's sooooo sloooww at the moment - I could have forty winks while I wait for the next page! :-((

P.S. I agree about the adverts, MG.

I hate the ads as the mouse pad is sensitive and can move if my sleve catches it. the number of ads that open......

Well it is free . you dont get much for nothing in this world . especialy such an informative friendly living book . ive made some great friends on here including 2 of my best . As for going slow ive never had that prpblem touch wood ie my head lol . ironicly thow im having my puter fixed fpr going slow lll . im doing this from my phone and even thats quit quick . dpnt be to picky as genaraly i love it .

Definitely a lot slower than it used to be!!

NP at times it is fine, at others it clunks... it is like watching paint dry as a page loads...

Perhaps you are simply not used to other sites that load far more quickly NP. I can go to any other site I have bookmarked and it opens just about instantly. With GoY I watch the little blue bar crawl across the url, frequently it stops and sits and has a think before actually loading the site... that is just the beginning!

your experience is identical to mine MG except mines is a circle rotating forever !!! I sometimes get dizzy just watching it... lol
